Pillow Monuments
A pillow type of monument is an alternative to the traditional upright
monument. Pillow monuments are manufactured so the back side is higher
than the front, giving the granite a sloped effect. With this slope and the
pillow monument being installed on a granite base makes
the lettering and design much easier to view.
This type of memorial can be manufactured into different sizes and
colors. The option of having the back and front areas of the pillow
polished allows you to place the family name on the front and back,
therefore, leaving more room on the face of the pillow for design. The
size of the memorial would depend on the design selected and if it is to
honor one or two people.
